When I discovered JSD’s artwork on Twitter this was the first image I saw. I had never seen anything like it before. I was transfixed. Going to an art college, I had seen plenty of abstract artwork, but it was mostly traditional and done with muddied colors from dirty brushes and pallet knives. The saturation and brightness of the purple was the first thing that struck me as well as the clean lines. The lines seemed to glow with a light entirely separate from the screen itself and the different shades of purple gave it a depth that allowed that light to expand. It is truly a gorgeous piece.
